WHAT WE DO

What you need to know!

What is it? How is it eco friendly? What are the benefits of each process? What we need from you.

DTG

What is it?

DTG or Direct to Garment printing is the process by which you print directly onto the material of the garment.

How is it eco friendly?

We use state of the art Kornit Printers, the only DTG printer with integrated pre treatment. Inks are all water-based and meet OEKOTEX and GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) standards.

What are the benefits of each process?

DTG is long lasting, offers incredible print quality and can accommodate a large array of colors . As there are no set up costs ( which will occur with screen printing )

DTG is effective and affordable for short and long runs. So you wont be disappointed, note DTG can not be used on polyester garments. Cotton garments are recommended.

What we need from you

SCREEN PRINTING

What is it?

Screen printing or serigraphy is a printing technique whereby ink is pressed through a stenciled, mesh screen.

How is it Eco friendly?

There are two common types of ink used plastisol and water based. Plastisol is the “standard” ink used  and although good for mass production, they contain PVC but water based inks , which we use, are environmentally friendly. The garment will also feel softer due to the absence of harsh chemicals.

What are the benefits of each process?

Screen printing is great for graphics with one or two colours and where larger quantities are needed. It produces vibrant colours and Pantone matching is available. Great for large volume orders on T-shirts or tote bags for example.

What we need from you

To place a screen printed order please note there will be a set up charge per colour printed of 15 pounds and the minimum order is 20 although for test prints we can go as low as 10 but this is not cost effective.

Artwork files must be Vectored supplied in .ai, .eps or .pdf.
Pantone colours must be specified.

EMBROIDERY

What is it?

Embroidery is the art of transferring your design onto a surface using threads.

How is it eco friendly?

We use state of the art digital embroidery machines to create intricate designs and threads, which are certified to OEKO-TEX standard and do not contain any harmful substances.  The machines are only powered on when in use, reducing electricity consumption. There is very little waste in embroidery and what is discarded, we recycle. The threads we use are selected only from sustainable sources and dyes to colour the threads, only from registered REACH suppliers (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Chemical Restriction).

What are the benefits of each process?

The main advantage of embroidery is the professional, high quality result you will achieve and durability after production. You can choose from a large variety of thread colours and create vivid, bold designs. Great for work wear, caps, aprons and sports wear.

To avoid disappointment note that embroidery is not suitable for large very detailed designs.

What we need from you

To place an order for embroidery please note there will be a ONE OFF set up charge of 15 pounds
Minimum order 8 for garments, 20 for caps.
Artwork files must be vectored.
File must be saved in .ai, .eps or .pdf format.
