We Print Eco offer eco-friendly printing services. From hoodies and t-shirts to lanyards, tote bags and even paper cups. Our printing can be on a wide range of products!
One of our specialities is eco-friendly digital fabric printing and there are various ways in which we do this to achieve the best possible quality for your garment of choice! But what are these?
DTG
DTG or Direct to Garment printing is the process by which you print directly onto the material of the garment. We use state of the art Kornit Printers, the only DTG printer with integrated pre-treatment. Inks are all water-based and meet OEKOTEX and GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) standards.
A hug benefit of DTG is its high print quality (it can accommodate a large array of colours) and long-lasting nature so you definitely won’t be disappointed with the quality of your fabric! It’s also an affordable option, what’s not to like? You can read more about DTG here.
Screen Printing
Screen Printing is a technique where ink is pressed through a stencilled, mesh screen. To ensure this process is eco-friendly, we use water-based inks as opposed to Platisol which contains PVC.
This is a great option where graphics only have one or two colours and for larger quantities as it produces vibrant colours. We recommend this option for large orders on t-shirts or tote bags, for example! Click here for more information on this printing type.
Embroidery
What is embroidery? It’s simply the art of transferring a design onto a material using threads. Our digital embroidery machines are able to create intricate designs whilst remaining super eco-friendly as they contain ZERO harmful substances.
We strive to reduce our electricity consumption and so all machines remain off when not in use. This option also produces very little waste – another plus! The main benefit of this option is the durability, but please note that embroidery is not suitable tor large designs.
